Summary: Armando Álvarez ha vivido y trabajado en el rancho de su padre en México toda su vida. Como el rancho enfrenta dificultades financieras, el hermano menor Raúl Armando se presenta y se compromete a saldar las deudas de todo su padre. Parece que el éxito de Raúl como un hombre de negocios internacional significa que los problemas del rancho se han acabado, pero cuando Armando se enamora de Sonia y los negocios de Raúl resultan ser menos de fiar, la familia Alvarez si se encuentra en una guerra total con México de más temido señor de la droga.
