Summary: Episode 1: Jack Bauer, head of the CIA's Counter Terrorist Unit in L.A., learns of a planned assassination attempt on the Vice Presidental candidate David Palmer. Jack and his wife Teri must also look for their daughter, who has snuck out of the house. Episode 2: A man claiming to be the father of a friend of Kim's suggests that he and Teri look for their daughter's together. Meanwhile, Jack receives information suggesting that CTU may contain a dirty agent, and a 747 explodes over the Mojave Desert.
